IAM Launches Winter Road safety Campaign

The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) have launched a new campaign that's aim at helping young drivers get their cars ready for the wintery season.
IAM's new website - www.drivingadvice.org.uk will be able to display weather forecasts, traffic updates and advice on dealing with the cold weather.
Commenting on behalf of IAM, Chief Executive Simon Best said:
“Our winter driving campaign will provide comprehensive advice and guidance for those who do decide to travel, keeping them as safe as possible.”
Mr Best added that as a driver you should ask yourself whether you really need to travel before jumping in the car during particularly bad weather.
By using IAM’s new website young drivers can stay safe during the winter months and possibly reduce the likelihood of an accident and having to claim on their young drivers’ insurance policy.
