Changes in Car Technology
August 21, 2012

With the likes of Ford, Toyota and Vauxhall all embracing new technology to improve the driving experience young driver insurance holders could look forward to a brighter-future.
Car technology firm, Harman have been talking about changes in the use of technology in cars - specifically those that had previously only been available to premium vehicles.
Commenting on changes in car technology, Director of Technology Hans Roth said:
"Traditionally, we have seen that features such as navigation and connectivity are typically reserved for premium cars, but this has changed."
He went on to draw attention to Harman's "Touch and Go" Multimedia technology that is currently being used in Toyota Yaris models. This includes elements such as satellite navigation, a rear-view camera, Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free calls and MP3 streaming.
Mr Roth added that, whilst cars are becoming more tech-savvy to come in-line with drivers' expectations, Harman aim to do this as "safely and as intuitively as possible".
