Geely Looks To Launch In The UK
April 30, 2012

Geely, a car manufacturer based in China are planning on selling it's cars based on "ease of ownership", rather than just price.
Geely is looking at putting together a number of customer friendly policies, such as complimentary loan cars and fixed-price service costs for customers.
The company’s UK models are also expected to come well equipped and sold with a five-year, 100,000 mile warranty.
Geely is launching two vehicles in the UK initially - the Emgrand EC7 and a small hatchback, which could be ideal for those looking for affordable learner driver insurance.
However, the larger EC7 is expected to compete with the likes of the Ford Focus - engine sizes of between 1.5 - 1.7 and retailing at £10,000.
Commenting on their entrance into the UK market John Russell, Head of Geely Auto UK, stated:
"We see Geely cars being attractive purchases for retail and business user-chooser customers. At this stage we are not volume driven but we will increase our sales significantly as customers get to know our products and more models are added to the range."
Mr Russell Added that the company's priority "at launch is to have a representative network who wants to work with us to deliver real customer satisfaction."
