- How much is the iKube box? The box cost is £249 (which includes any installation cost and annual monitoring charge). When we provide you with a learner driver insurance quote, the iKube box charge will be included in this price. Visit our fees and charges page for more information.
- The iKube unit is a small hand sized device. The installation is very quick.
- The iKube unit uses GPS technology in order to transmit a signal to advise us (iKube) if the vehicle is driven between the hours of 11pm and 5am. If you, or any of your named drivers, drive during these hours you will incur an additional charge of £100. This charge is not added to your provisional insurance premium, we will contact you to arrange payment.
- If you change your car, the car must be made available for the engineers to remove the unit and install it in the new vehicle so you can continue driving under your learner driver insurance policy. The iKube unit will remain the property of iKube at all times. A transfer charge will apply.
